Wedding day itinerary (or, what you need to do and when you need to do it...)
Morning:
Midnight: Kat's single...woohoo!
9:00 - Kat & Jo (and Shane) meet with the event coordinator, Solarium Room, Ahawahnee
9:30 - All wedding party attendants (Kat, Jo, Shane, Randy, Melanie, Jimmy, Marlee, MIchael, Elise...Jim & Meg on the road, coming in) meet on The Ahwahnee Wedding Lawn to run through a rehearsal
10:00 - Breakfast buffet at The Ahwahnee Dining Room, thank you Michael!
11:00 - Kat & Jo take misc. stuff to the florest on the way out of town...everybody besides Kat & Jo either stays in the Valley & sight-sees, or arrives from elsewhere & gets settled in
11:30-3:30: Kat & Jo drive to Mariposa where they pick up their marriage license & return (road construction delays, damn it!)
Afternoon:
3:30: Kat & Jo get misc. things from room in Curry Village; meet Bruce & Becky to give them their key
4:00: Kat & Jo check-in to The Ahwahnee (thank you Randy!)
4:15: Jo takes off with the guys to hang out/get ready
4:30: Girls get ready at Kat & Jo's cottage at The Ahwahnee
5:30: Ken arrives at cottage at The Ahwahnee for preparation wedding photos with girls
Evening:
6:45: Ceremony, Ahwahnee Lawn
7:00-7:15: Post-Wedding pictures
7:00 - 10:00: Reception, Solarium Room
10:15 - 1:00ish: After-party at first our cottage, then Mar/Mel's room in Curry, then rambling around the Valley floor in full garb - woohoo! |
